When I run MaxPoint in Windows Vista, I get the error "Vista - Registry appears locked...". How do I fix this?

When running MaxPoint with Window Vista, it may be necessary to run it as "Administrator" the first time you use it. To do this right click on the MaxPoint icon and select "Run as Administrator". Now double-click the MaxPoint icon to start.

Alternatively, you could set this program to always run as an Administrator by doing the following:

1.) Right-click on the MaxPoint icon and select "Properties"
2.) Select the "Compatibility" tab
3.) Check the box "Always run this program as an Administrator"
4.) Click "OK"

The next time the program is run, it will run as Administrator.
