The images I took with my DSLR appear too red, what is causing this?

When the debayer is done in software, we do not get any settings from the camera. So there might be some offset.

If you take the images using the RAW Color imaging mode, then they are automatically converted to color on the fly. This should not show any red cast. However it is still recommended to use RAW Monochrome.
