My MaxDome I/II card is not working, what should I do?

The first thing you should do is check the manual to ensure that you have MaxDome I/II connected properly.
Next you can review the common problem checklist. Check the following items:
1.) Are the dip switches in the correct position for the card as described in the Hardware Installation section of the manual?
2.) Is the PWR LED on?
3.) Does the MaxDome I/II card work with the manual operation switch?
4.) When using the manual operation switch, if it does not operate properly, are the relays tripped when the switch is used?
5.) If both cards are installed, is the LINK LED flashing every 2 seconds?
6.) If the Dome is able to rotate, does the ROT LED flash as it is rotating?
7.) If the Dome is in the HOME position, is the HOME LED on?
8.) If the card is configured as a rotation controller, and the card is connected to a computer, does the OPEN LED flash intermittently?
9.) If the card is configured as a shutter controller, and the shutters are closed, are the CLS and HOME LEDs on?
10.) If the card is configured as a shutter controller, and the shutters are open, are the OPEN and ROT LEDs on?
It is usually a good idea to submit the answers to these questions, if you submit a tech support request.
If your card does not work, do not send the card back to us without contacting us first to get an RMA number, and return instructions.
